Long-Path Flow Cell for Gases



Guided Wave offers this flow cell specifically designed for long optical paths up to 1 meter. 

The  NIR spectrum is rich with information to quantify gas concentrations and distinguish gases in a mixture.  Some of our applications include:
  • 0-2% ethylene in ethylene dichloride
  • 0-2% propylene in propane, carbon dioxide and air
UV/VIS applications include:
  • Chlorine and bromine gases

Here is an example of gases in the NIR. The differences shown below provide a reasonable means to quantify mixtures.
